Burning for impact…
…but still want time and space to savor life’s sweetness?
Me, too.
That’s why it’s my mission to help small-business owners make money, serve the world, and still have time for s’mores.
With my brave and resilient daughters at Lake Moomaw; IV port in arm.

In 2019, life as I knew it stopped.
After six years of unexplained symptoms and mostly-perfect test results, my body hit a wall in November, 2019. When I began the long journey back to life fourteen months later, I knew two things: the impossible happens every day, and communicating through writing — a passion since childhood — was one of the few cognitive and physical abilities that had remained fully, beautifully intact throughout the most acute phase of my illness.
Palms open to receive the good kind of impossible.

What I Learned
One of the things I learned — from living for over a year without it — is that purpose is vital to human life. Every one of us carries something within us that the world needs.
I believe our purpose is to use that gift for good.
My purpose is to help amplify the impact of small-business owners working for good by offering them my writing, my encouragement, my guidance, and my boots-on-the-ground, on board and in deep investment in their success.
The world needs you.
And if you need me? I’m here to help.
With my family in Williamsburg.

Where I Am Now
Today, I’m a copywriter and relational marketing strategist who works with small-business owners doing good in the world. “Relational” because I believe selling can serve when you keep relationships front and center, communicate with integrity, and offer products or services that build a bridge from your brilliance to the world’s needs.
I’m a mom, a wife, a small-business owner, and a chronic illness warrior. I love margherita pizza, ripe peaches, and tortilla chips. Put me by a body of water and I’m happy. The best seasons are late-summer evenings and early-fall afternoons.
If I had a dollar for every time I paused a replay to scribble notes…

Few things I know about small-business owners doing good in the world through their work
We care a lot about what we do
We work really hard
We wear a lot of hats
Outside perspective,
In some ways, I don’t really need an About page. You already know me.
I’m you.
We have both recognized and owned our zones of genius. We have consciously turned our brilliance toward helping others. We have hired ourselves to heal the world, and named ourselves CEO.
And we both want to live a life that is abundant in every way that matters to us personally. [: maybe rich in health, time, relationships, money, adventure, service, character, spirit.]
that said here are some personal facts, prof qualifications
4. Like OSU does football
I majored in English—surprise—and selected for myself a midwestern liberal arts college whose promotional mailings boasted (I kid you not): “We do poetry the way Ohio State does football.”
What you get:
A skilled & savvy wordsmith who thinks, “When it comes to words, don’t mess with me.” (And a lady who knows very, very little about football.)
Finally, 6: My Extra-Credit Life
Ask any of my teachers or employers, ever: “Does she deliver stellar, flawless work that makes you say, ‘Whoa.’?”
They will tell you: Yes.
Yes, she does.
What you get:
A copywriter & business ally with sky-high standards, a rock-solid work ethic, and a heart-centered passion for guiding you and your brand to success—as you define it.

“Working with Meg on a recent website project was eye-opening. She noticed details that had completely escaped me. Her perfectionism worked to our great advantage. Meg is a wonderful collaborator – invariably encouraging and enthusiastic. Her copywriting skills are remarkable; our finished product shone from her tender polish job. I loved working with her!”
